

Albert L. Royster, age 82, of Manchester Township, New Jersey passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024. Born in Long Branch, NJ, Albert grew up in Matawan and lived in Hazlet before moving to Manchester 17 years ago. He worked as a technician for DuPont in Parlin, NJ, for 33 years and retired in 2000. Albert honorably served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He is a member of the Shore Knights and the DAV.
Albert was predeceased by his wife of 44 years, Ruth Naomi Royster, his parents; Robert and Ersell Royster and his brother; Jimmy Royster. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his daughter, Nicole Lewis and her husband Donald and son Roy Royster, his grandchildren; Asia, Alberto and Brandon, his great grandchildren; Scott Paul, Lance Naom and Amaius Lewis, his sister; Janice Williams, Barbara McCloud and Charlotte Royster and brothers; Robert Royster and John Royster. He is also survived by his aunts; Martha Lee and Sarah Royster and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Friday, February 23, 2024, at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759, from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm, with family and friends to speak for Albert from 12-12:30 pm. Military Honors will take place on Friday, February 23, 2024, between 1:30 and 2 PM at the Brig. General William C. Doyle Veteran Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08625.
