Alfred worked for Local 172 from 1964 until his retirement. He was a diehard Packers fan.
Surviving is his beloved son Mathews and his wife Cheryl and his cherished grandson Dallas. Also survived his brothers Robert Hopkins and his wife Paula, Glenn Hopkins and Gary Hopkins and his sister Molly Kay and her husband John.
Visitation will be held on Sunday April 19, 2015, from 4-8 pm at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ. Cremation will be private.
