Carol Lynn Post, age 70, of Manchester Township, New Jersey passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ. Born and raised in Pittsfield, MA, Carol Lynn met her husband Charles there and they then married. They moved to Indiana and lived there until 1997 when they moved back to Howell and then to the Renaissance in Manchester in 2012. Carol Lynn was a professional volunteer, mostly through her church, Saint Michael's Church in Indiana. She also ran blood drives, was a substitute teacher and worked with the Girl Scouts. She was the head hostess at the Applebee's in Howell, NJ. Carol went to college at the age of 46 and was a graduate of the first class of Georgian Court University, Lakewood, NJ, with her degree of Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic design and Illustration. Carol Lynn loved her husband, daughter and adored her grandsons, she will be greatly missed.
Carol Lynn is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Charles E. "Charlie" Post, her loving daughter, Nancie Dawson, her cherished grandsons, Nathanial Dawson and Austin Dawson, as well as her brothers, Bruce Webb and his wife Dot and David Webb. She was predeceased by her parents, Benjamin Bowron and Ethelyn Webb, and her brother Allen Webb and his wife Eileen.
