Christopher George Scott, III, 65, of Toms River, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday March 4, 2016, Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Hamilton, NJ. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Chris lived in East Meadow, NY, Piscataway, NJ, and Manassas, VA, before moving to Toms River. He was a Navy Veteran who served on the USS Joseph P. Kennedy Jr. DD850 USN Destroyer. He owned Chris Carpets in Manassas, VA for many years and most recently worked for Home Depot for the past twenty years. Chris was a dedicated NASCAR fan, loved fishing, especially ice fishing, but what he loved most of all was being Papa to his cherished granddaughters.
Chris is survived by his devoted daughter Shana Narita of Holland, PA and her significant other Doug DiBenedetto, his loving sister Patricia Racek and her husband Don, of Toms River and his adored granddaughters Marli and Jordan. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
