

Dr. Jonathon J. May passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 40. Born on April 14, 1985, and grew up in Beaufort, SC, Jonathon lived in Stafford, VA, during his teens and graduated high school, and then moved to Fredericksburg, VA, where he attended Mary Washington University. After that, he moved to Ohio, where he attended Bowling Green University for his graduate studies. Jonathon then worked at Nova South Eastern University, in Davey, FL, where he received his Doctorate in higher education, and then went to work as Dean of Juniors and Seniors at Allegheny College in Meadville, PA. Jonathon then moved to Manchester Township, New Jersey and started working as the director of Student Affairs for University of Pennsylvania. Jonathon always loved school, enjoyed going to the movies, traveling with friends, especially with Joe, his husband and soul mate.
Jonathon is survived by his devoted husband of 11 years, Joseph M. Infante, his mother Donna Kay May of Bedford, VA and his father Dee Edward May of Lake City, FL, his Nana, Donna Ruth Casasanta, his siblings; Joseph, Patrick and Brittany, his aunts and uncles; Debra Lynn Brooks, Cheryl Ann Clouse, Theresa Gail Welch, and her husband Melvin Kenneth, Jr, Venanzio "Chris" Casasanta, his father and mother in law, John Raymond, Jr. and Michalena Ann Infante, his sister in law, Michelle Infante, his cousins; Holly Marie, Breann, Joseph Todd, Karessa, Deanna, Jacob, Noah and Jake. Jonathon is also survived by his three fur babies; Spud, Donatella and Jasper. He was predeceased by his uncle Harold Dean Clouse, Jr and his wife Tina Gail Linn.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday December 21, 2025, from 12-3 pm at the Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759.
