

Eugene L. Zindel, 74, of Manchester, passed away Monday, Feb. 8, 2010 at Health South Rehab, Toms River. Mr. Zindel was born in Jersey City raised in Bayonne, NJ and lived most of his life in Maplewood, NJ before moving to Manchester in 2001. Mr. Zindel was a mail handler with the Post Office in Jersey City for 25 years before retiring in 1999. He was a member of the Manchester First Aid Squad, Meals on Wheels; Bocce Club; Rummy Q; The Nature Club; Genealogy and a volunteer for the movies all at Leisure Village West.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Mabel; son, Michael and his wife Annette; daughter, Debra and her husband Larry; son, Steven and his wife Lauren and daughter, Kristin; also survived by 10 Grandchildren and his three sisters, Sr. Mary Christine, Eileen Zindel and Elizabeth Feusahrens.
Visiting hours will be Friday, Feb 12th, 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. John's Church, Lakehurst, NJ on Saturday, Feb. 13th at 10 am, with entombment to follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River, NJ.
