Fred John Hodges

Fred John Hodges, 66 of Manchester, NJ, passed away at home on Thursday October 24, 2013.Born in Lakewood, Fred was a lifelong resident of Manchester. Fred loved music, gardening, fishing, muscle cars, and nature. He took after “Pop Pop” and was an avid gardener He grew up on Pop Pop’s farm in Manchester and enjoyed taking rides on the tractor. Fred attained a degree from OCC in computers and was a computer programmer for many years.

Fred is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 32 years, Marie Kulat-Hodges, and his adoring son, James Andrew Hodges, his brother and sister in law, Perry and Pat Hodges of Lakehurst, NJ, his sister and brother in law, Joyce and Scott Randolph of Metuchen, NJ, his nephews; Christian, Aaron and Andrew Hodges, and Scott, Brett, Gregory, John Randolph and nieces Elizabeth Randolph, and Tara Randolph-Reed.

Visitation will be held on Monday October 28, 2013, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759. A Funeral Service will be offered on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 10 am at the Funeral Home, with interment to follow at the Atlantic View Cemetery, Manasquan, NJ.
