Geraldine Gabriel

Geraldine Gabriel, 74, of Manchester, NJ, passed away at her home on Tuesday December 15, 2015, with her husband and her daughters by her side. Born in and raised in Hoboken, NJ, Geraldine moved to Carteret in 1969, before moving to Leisure Village West in Manchester in 2005, where she was active in Bocci, the Italian American Club, bowling and Briscola. Geraldine worked as an operator for Engelhard Corp, in Carteret, NJ for 25 years before retiring in 2003. She was an avid cook, loved AC, but loved her family most of all.

Geraldine was predeceased by her first husband Mario DeGiglio (1986) of 23 years. She is survived by her husband of 28 years Raymond A. Gabriel, Sr., her daughters Maria Endress and her husband Frank and Rita Polonzsak and her fiance Peter Klepchick, her stepson Raymond A. Gabriel, Jr. and his wife Terri, her six grandchildren, her sister Antoinette Teresi and her brothers Bartholomew Castellitto, Anthony Castellitto and John Castellitto.

Family and friends are invited to the visitation on Friday December 18, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759. Service to start at the Funeral Home at 8 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9 am on Saturday December 19, 2015, at Saint John’s Church, 619 Chestnut Street, Lakehurst, NJ 08733. Entombment to follow at Saint Gertrude’s Cemetery, Colonia, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Geraldine’s name to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
