Geraldine F. Kata, 84, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026. Gerri was born in Newark, NJ, moving to Middlesex Borough for 47 years before moving to Manchester 14 years ago. Gerri worked at JCP&L where she met the love of her life, Michael. They were married for 52 years. She then worked as a realtor for Century 21 in Middlesex, NJ. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Geraldine was predeceased by her husband Michael J. Kata, Jr., her parents, William and Josephine Gurka. She is survived by her devoted children, Susan Belcuore, Kristine Mongeau (Peter), and Michael Kata (Stacey), her cherished grandchildren; Michael, Audrey, Max, Alex and Abby. She is also survived by her sister, Lorraine Privitera of Hudson, Florida.
