Jack Bayer, 80, of Toms River, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2014 after suffering with Parkinson’s and dementia for 15 years. Jack was born on August 28, 1933 in Queens, NY. He served in the U.S.Army, as a corporal, stationed at Fort Gordon, GA. After his honorable discharge he married Veronica O’Keefe and moved to Long Island a few years later.
After 25 years at CitiBank, he retired and re-located from East Northport to Carmel, NY where he continued to work in banking before retiring full-time in Toms River.
In addition to his wife, Ronnie, he is survived by his daughter, Laura and her husband Paul Tietz of Wappingers Falls, NY, his son Scott, and his wife, Linda of Doylestown, PA, a son-in-law, John of New Fairfield, CT, as well as 8 grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his oldest daughter Lisa Bayer Muller.
