Janet “Etta” W. Stewart, 96, of Tinton Falls, NJ, passed away on Friday March 8, 2013. Born in Clarkston, Scotland, Janet came to the United States in 1975, and resided in Nutley, before moving to Leisure Knoll in Manchester in 1988 and then finally to Seabrook Village in Tinton Falls in 1999. She was employed as a secretary and cashier for Gourock Ropework Co. in Scotland for 33 years before she retired in 1974. While living in Manchester, she a was a parishioner of the Presbyterian Church of Lakehurst and member of the Ceramic Club, Helping Hands, Organ Club and Ladies Nine Hole Golf Club, all of Leisure Knoll.
Janet was predeceased by her husband John in 1995, and her niece Sally Snaith. She is survived by her niece Fiona Morrison of Radlett, UK, family members Martin, Margaret and Bill resident overseas, and close friends from New Jersey.
