Joan M. Rebain, 90, of Manchester, NJ, passed away on Tuesday February 2, 2021, at AristaCare at Manchester, NJ. Joan was born in Detroit, MI, to Stanley Janeski and Helen Juszkowski. Joan was the beloved wife of the late Thaddeus F. Rebain for 68 years. She was the devoted mother to Susan M. Neithardt and her husband William, Michelle Rebain, Michael Rebain, and Patrick Rebain and his wife Donna, grandmother of Kristin, Carrie and Daniel and great grandmother of Katie, Ryan, Jack, Henry, Callum and Will. Joan is also survived by her sister, Judy Jeanette, in Michigan. Joan, Ted and family moved from Detroit to Manchester, CT, in 1959, then resided in Montvale, NJ, for 40 years before retiring to Manchester, NJ, in 2003. She had worked as a waitress at the Friendly’s Restaurant in Montvale for many years and had been a parishioner of Saint John’s RC Church in Lakehurst, NJ. Joan enjoyed living in the Renaissance with her husband Ted, watching football, taking casino trips to Atlantic City & celebrating & decorating for all holidays A Memorial Service, Memorial Mass at Saint John’s RC Church and placement of Joan ashes with her beloved Thaddeus at the New Jersey Veteran Memorial Cemetery will take place at a later date when family and friends can safely gather again and will be able to celebrate Joan’s life properly.
