Joseph J. Novatin, Jr.

Joseph J. Novatin Jr., age 90, of Manchester, New Jersey passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. Joseph was born in Newark, NJ, and grew up in Cliffwood Beach. He lived in Howell for many years before moving to Manchester 22 years ago. Joseph worked as an electronic engineer for EAI for 15 years and for ABB for 10 years. Joseph proudly served his country during the Korean War in the Air Force. He enjoyed puttering with electronics, fishing and building model airplanes. Joseph also enjoyed drawing and working on his extensive stamp collection.

Joseph is survived by his devoted wife of 65 years, Joan T. Novatin, his loving children; David Novatin, Laurie Misenheimer and Thomas Novatin, his cherished grandchildren; Tami Novatin, Christy Novatin, Kari Vashey, Kevin Misenheimer, Kelli Misenheimer, Trevor Novatin and Tyler Novatin, his niece Carol Preble, and his dear brother Ambrose Novatin. He was predeceased by his brother Robert Novatin.

Family and friends are invited to the visitation from 2-5 pm, on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 am, at Saint Joseph RC Church, 685 Hooper Avenue, Toms River, NJ 08753, with interment to follow at Saint Joseph Cemetery, Toms River, NJ.
