

Margaret “Jane” Burke Carnegie, 90, of Manchester passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Trenton, NJ to the late Thomas and Jesse Burke, she grew up in West Trenton until her marriage to Alfred Carnegie, (recently celebrating their 70th Anniversary) then resided in North Brunswick for 30 years before moving to LVW 35 years ago. Jane was a beautiful, loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who went out of her way to help others. She was a dedicated member of the North Brunswick PTA and the NB Woman’s Club and various churches doing charity work within the community and held leaderships roles as part of her service. She had a lovely soprano voice and sang in her high school chorus, church choirs as well as the NB Woman’s Club Chorus and the Westernaires of LVW. Jane was part owner of the North Brunswick Travel, which enabled her to travel the world.
Jane is survived by her loving husband Alfred, her four children, Lynn Butler, Manchester, NJ, Bruce Carnegie and his wife Sue, Lawrenceville, NJ, Beth Mezaros and her husband Ken, Avon, NJ, Ellen Kinzer, Lynchburg, VA, her 14 grandchildren and her 9 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister in law Helen Burke of Hamilton Twp., and Honey Burke of Langhorne, PA and numerous nieces and nephews. She was the last of her Burke siblings.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Rd., Manchester, NJ 08759 from 1:00 PM till 2:30 PM with services to begin promptly at 2:30 PM.
