Melody Ann Kitson

Melody A. Wilmot Kitson, passed away February 11, 2016 at home. She grew up in Morrisville, PA and moved to Jackson, NJ to a home she and her husband built where she resided for 42 years until moving to Freehold, NJ

She was a para-legal, office manager, homemaker, real estate associate, and Deputy Court Administrator.

She was predeceased by her father, Howard W. Wilmot, Sr., in 1996; her brother, Howard W. Wilmot, Jr. in 2010 and her beloved husband of 38 years, Richard F. Kitson, in 2009.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Chris Howard, New Hope, PA; daughter, Stacy A. Kitson, Freehold, NJ; son and daughter-in-law, John and Krystyna Kitson, Jackson, NJ; and her grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Ryan Howard, New Hope, PA and Sean Richard, William Joseph, and Maura Jan Jackson, NJ

Also surviving are her mother, Theodosia “Doty” Wilmot, Morrisville, PA; her sister-in-law, Roxanne Wilmot, Severn, MD, and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, John and Blanche Kitson, Stillwater, PA

A celebration of life will be held Tuesday February 16, 2016 from 5-7 pm, with a service at 7 pm at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Melody’s memory to the Salvation Army www.salvationarmy.org.
