Robert G. Braadt

Robert G. Braadt, age 72, of Manchester Township, New Jersey passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at his home with his family by his side. Robert was born and raised in Staten Island, NY. He honorably served in the US Navy. Robert had worked as a splicer for Con Edison for 37 years and retired in 2006.

Robert enjoyed working on the computer and brain games, reading books, bowling, watching sports, especially football, with his favorite team the Jets, going to Atlantic City and going to the beach. He had a true green thumb and enjoyed gardening. He also loved just sitting on his deck with a good cigar, but what he loved the most was his family.

Robert was predeceased by his parents, George and Dolores. He is survived by his devoted wife of 49 years, Patricia; his loving daughters; Jessica Braadt, Kristy Hidalgo and Jennifer Braadt and her husband Michael; his cherished granddaughters Isabella Hidalgo, Gabrielle Hidalgo and Alessandra Hidalgo, and his sister, Heather Locarro and brother George Braadt. He is also a proud uncle of several nieces and nephews.

A viewing for Robert will be held Sunday, October 1, 2023, from 2 - 8 pm at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759. A mass of Christian Burial will occur Monday, October 2, 2023, from 11 - 11:45 am at St. John's RC Church, 609 Chestnut Street, Lakehurst, NJ 08733.
