Sandy Goodrich

Sandra Mary Petro Goodrich of Ladson, South Carolina, age 75, formerly of Manchester Township, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 1, 2018, at Trident Medical Center, Charleston, South Carolina. Sandy was born on November 20, 1942 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, daughter of Kalmon Petro and Patricia Bassett.

Sandy loved spending time with her family, playing bingo, and was a five-hundred rummy champion. She is and always will be her family’s sunshine as they were hers.

She is pre-deceased by her loving husband, Frank A Goodrich Sr. Surviving are her eight children, Donald R. Melton Jr., Catherine P. Phillips, Patricia A. Melton, Sandra M. Melton, Wendy A. Goodrich, Suzanne Goodrich, Michael Goodrich, and Jade Goodrich; nine grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering to celebrate her life, her love, and her family on Friday, September 14, 2018 from 10:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester. A memorial service will be held 12:30 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Toms River. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org or the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
