

Walter Frederick Freehan, 83, of Jackson, NJ, passed away peacefully at Laurelton Village, Brick, NJ, on August 15, 2012. Born in South River, NJ. Fred and his wife Wanda, with their family lived in East Brunswick for 55 years before moving to Jackson 4 years ago. He worked as a toll collector on the NJ Turnpike for many years. Fred was a Korean/Vietnam Navy Veteran and was very proud of his country. An all around just nice man, Fred enjoyed life and he most of all enjoyed spending time with his family as well as his friends.
Fred is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years Wanda (nee Waters) Freehan, his loving daughters and their spouses, Debra Oliva and her husband Mike, Linda Malone and her husband Ray, and Cindy Foiles and her husband Thomas; his 7 grandchildren, Tara Havens, Clayton Rickle, Carrie Guerriero, Randy Malone, Scott Rickle, Chelsea Foiles and Tommy Foiles; and his 6 great grandchildren, Alex Havens, Bailey Havens, Scott Rickle, Clayton Rickle, Connor Rickle and Paul Guerriero.
Family and friends are invited to the Memorial Gathering on Friday August 17, 2012, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759.
