Acie Workman

Acie Workman, 55, of Ontario, died August 16, 2015. Born October 18, 1959 in Mansfield, he was the son of Glenn and Gladys (Burns) Workman. Acie graduated from Crestview High School and went on to graduate from Ashland University with a Bachelor's Degree in social work and later earned a Master's Degree. He worked for the VOA for over 25 years as a social worker. In his free time, Acie enjoyed reading, catching up with his friends on facebook, and spending time with his beloved dogs. He collected nut crackers. Acie had a great sense of humor and was a good uncle to his many nieces and nephews.

Surviving are his siblings, Brenda (Randy) Barker, Rosemary (Keith) Smith, Van (Phyllis) Workman, and Ernie (Linda) Workman; nieces and nephews, Jeremy (Kristi) Barker, Jessica Ringler, Joshua Barker, Brittanie (Jeff) Duncan, Craig Smith, Tricia (Matt) Bernhard, Michelle (Matt) Dinsmore, Matthew (Joanne) Workman, Shawn (Shannon) Workman, Jamie (Scott) Robinson, Stacie Workman, and Frank Workman; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

Acie was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, August 21, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, conducted by Rev. Gregory Bibler. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
