She was born on October 14, 1937, in rural South Heart, North Dakota, to the late Anton and Philipina (Wanner) Huschka. She was raised and educated on a farm near South Heart and attended rural schools. Agnes was united in marriage to Michael Krebs on August 4, 1956. She was a homemaker who loved baking, vegetable and flower gardening and crocheting.
Agnes is survived by her children, Steven Krebs, Doris (Ripley) Stratton, Diann (Manuel) Martinez, Kevin (Gail) Krebs, Karen (Michael) Cook and Philip (Karen) Krebs; fifteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Em and Birdie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Krebs; son, Daniel Krebs; infant daughter, Mary Ann Krebs; grandson, Travis Krebs; and granddaughter, Ashley Krebs.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 104 W. First St., Mansfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be recited at 11:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Catholic Cemetery.
