
Alice E. 'Peg' Sauder Graszl, 86, of Mansfield, died Monday afternoon, November 17, 2003 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital after an extended illness. She was born March 19, 1917 in Mansfield to the late William J. and Mary Fuhrer Sauder. Peg was a very active member of Illinois Avenue Apostolic Christian Church for over 60 years. She enjoyed flowers, traveling and loved baking and cooking. Peg treasured her family and always put them first in her life.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Frank Graszl; four children and their spouses, Shirley Roberts, Frank Jr. and Ruth Graszl, Richard and Barbara Graszl and Thomas and Marty Graszl, all of Mansfield; twelve grandchildren and their spouses, Cindy and Bruce Harter of Bellville, Thomas and Chris Roberts of Raymond, Ohio, Jerry and Brenda Roberts of Mansfield, Frank Cameron Graszl of Denver, Colorado, Mike Graszl of Centerburg, Ohio, Roger Graszl, Lori and Kevin Horsley, all of Mansfield, Kelly Johnson and Kimberly and Terry Laubacher all of Delaware, Ohio, John and Lisa Graszl, of Mansfield, Diane and Brian Rice of Lucas, Ohio, and Jane Graszl of Mansfield; sixteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; a sister, Evelyn and Eli Manz of Paulding, Ohio; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Elmer J. 'Bud' Sauder, Kenneth and Suzanne Sauder, all of Mansfield, and Don and Faye Sauder of Nashville, Tennessee; and a special sister-in-law, Caroline Sauder of Lucas. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bob and Dick Sauder; three sisters, Marie, Mildred, and Ruth; and a grandson, Jeff Graszl.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Wednesday, November 19 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Illinois Avenue Apostolic Christian Church. Burial will follow in Lantz Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Apostolic Christian Church, 84 N. Illinois Avenue, Mansfield, Ohio 44905.
