Allan E. Peace, 55, of Mansfield, died Monday evening, November 7, 2005 at OSU Medical Center after a brief illness. Born April 19, 1950 in DuBois, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Irvin E. and Wanda M. Lyons Peace. He served in the U.S. Marines. Mr. Peace worked at Newman Technology and also co-owned and operated Peace Auto Sales. He enjoyed spending time with his family, cars, and trips to Myrtle Beach.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Kay Blatter Peace; son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Jennifer Peace of Mansfield; two grandchildren, Kylie and Ashley; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Catherine and Roy Patton, and Cheryl and Frank Daugherty, all of Mansfield; brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Kera Peace of Johnsville; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, November 10, 2005 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Bruce Copley.
