Amber "Diane" Singhaus

Amber "Diane" Singhaus, 69, of Mansfield passed away peacefully on Monday, June 12, 2017 at home with her daughters by her side as her son-in-law sang Amazing Grace. Diane took her last breathe here on earth and went home to be with the Lord as the song came to a close. Diane was the daughter of John Warren and Imogene (Lewis) Christian and was born on October 25, 1947 in Mansfield, Ohio.

Diane was a graduate of Mansfield Senior High School and worked as a medical assistant for thirty years with Gentle Foot Care. A strong Christian lady, she was a member of Father's Garden Fellowship Church. Diane was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother and cherished her quality time spent together with family. She was caring, generous, kind and compassionate, and a prayer warrior to many. You could often find Diane tending to her flowers and playing with her dog when she was not traveling as these were just a few of her favorite things to do. Trips to the ocean were a highlight of her travels.

Left behind to cherish Diane's memory are her daughters, Tammy Shoemaker of Mansfield and Pamela (Mike) Grassick of Ontario; five grandchildren, Tarah (Jesse) Bishop of Mansfield, Brandon (Kristen) Grassick of California, Josh (Liz) Grassick of Lexington, Amanda Grassick of Ontario, and Michal Grassick of Florida; ten great-grandchildren, Caden, Tanner, Gavin, Natalie, Skylar, Kai, Karson, Jaylen, Zane and Everson; brother, Mark (Debbie) Christian of Lucas, two nephews, Chad and Cody Christian of Lucas; a very dear friend, Nancy Banks of Lucas; and many friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Walter Singhaus; and her dog, Smurf.

Friends and family may visit from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St. Mansfield. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home officiated by Pastor Philip Banks and Pastor Mark Lee. Burial will take place in Windsor Park Cemetery.
