Ann G. Kiamy, age 89, died Saturday, December 20, 2014 in Logan, Ohio. Born in West Alexandria, Ohio on May 15, 1925 to Ruth and Arthur Gilbert, she lived in Lexington, Ohio most of her life. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Mansfield, Ohio. Ann retired from teaching at Madison Jr. High after 35 years of service.
Preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Robert W. Kiamy in 1998; brothers, Chester Gilbert and Nelson Gilbert; and sisters, Dorothy Schutt and Doris Pierce.
Survived by two sons, Michael (Dawn) Kiamy of Piqua, Ohio and Robert (Denise) Kiamy of Logan; grandchildren, Megan (Kyle) Chaffee of Noblesville, Indiana, Morgan,(Brian) Eichorst of Alabama and Anthony Kiamy of Piqua; great granddaughter, Zola Chaffee; and one sister, Joyce (Robert) Nisius of West Alexandria.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 South Diamond St., Mansfield conducted by Rev. Dr. Pentti Maki. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
