
Anna Mae Daugherty, 89, of 4830 Mansfield Adario Road, Shiloh, a former resident of Winchester Terrace Nursing Home for 31/2 years, died Monday evening July 17, 2006, at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Born March 6, 1917, in Wooster, she was the daughter of Earl Christopher and Sarah Naomi Weimer Mong. Mrs. Daugherty retired from Montgomery Ward in Mansfield and had also worked at Kobackers and the Giant Store. She attended Grace Brethren Church in Ashland and was a member of Do Be There Garden Club and the Business and Professional Women's Club.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Sally L. and Forrest R. Pruner of Shiloh; four grandchildren, Debra Sue Pruner, Keith Karen Pruner, Scott Pruner and Daphne Barry Galloway; six great grandchildren, Keeley, Kory, Kerri, Zachary and Shelby Pruner, and Ashley Norris; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter P. Shillito; her second husband, Charles R. Daugherty; one sister, Lucy Marie Van Zile; and one brother, John Weimer Mong.
Friends may call from 1-3 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, July 20, 2006, at the Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 21, 2006, at the funeral home with Pastor Norm Johnson officiating. Friends may also call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home Friday. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
