
Arthur L. Wynn, 88, of 55 Wood St. died Tuesday evening October 30, 2001 at Mifflin Care Center following an extended illness. Mr. Wynn was born April 14, 1913 in Mansfield, being a life long resident. He retired as a carpenter after 50 years of working with Local Union #735. Mr. Wynn was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II. Arthur loved horses, enjoyed making rope and various woodcrafts. His enjoyed hobbies were collecting antique tools, watches and pocketknives.
Surviving are five sisters, Alberta Lewis; Ann Pilo; Thelma Wynn; Nina Garrison and Norma Jean Flowers; his care giving nephew and his spouse, Mark and Carolyn Wallace and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Anna Wynn; his wife, Pauline Wynn; two brothers, James R. and Daniel Wynn; two sisters, Catherine Young and Esther D. Lambeth.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Friday November 2, 2001 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 3, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home conducted by his nephew, the Rev. James Wynn. Military graveside services will be in Mansfield Cemetery.
