Arzella Fields, 91 formerly of 112 Bahl Ave. died April 6, 2000 at Twin Oaks Care Center following a brief illness. Mrs. Fields was born November 1, 1908 in Jo Nancy, Kentucky residing in the Mansfield area since 1950. Surviving are two sons, Carroll K. Fields of Indiana; and Billy E. Fields of Butler, Ohio; three daughters, Bobbie H. Steele of Spanaway, Washington; Cinderella Edwards and Ada F. Gilligan both of Mansfield; seventeen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Julia Ann Fields of Mansfield; and Maggie Compton of Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents, George W. and Frances Tackett Calhoun; her husband, Robert Fields in 1991; one daughter, Barbara; two brothers, Joe and Enoch; and six sisters, Martha, Elizabeth, Rosie, Tillie, Nancy and Becky.Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Friday April 7, 2000 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 8, 2000 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by the Rev. Richard F. Danison of Fellowship Baptist Church. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery.
