Barbara Lucille Andrews, 75, of Mansfield, died Monday, March 22, 2010 at her home. Born Christmas Day, 1934 in Columbus, she was the daughter of the late, Harold V. and Ruth M. Osman Williams. Barbara was formerly employed as a receptionist with School Employees Retirement System. She resided in Columbus all of her life until retiring to Naples, Florida. After the death of her husband in 2007, she moved to Mansfield to be near her family. Barbara was a loving wife, mother and daughter and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by a son, Dr. Dana Jennifer Andrews of Mansfield; daughter, Teresa Larry Wiksell of Simi Valley, CA; grandchildren, Ellen and Thomas Andrews and Kelsey and Lauren Wiksell; a brother, Patrick Williams of Columbus; and a sister, Ruth Williams Rick Elenes of Cardiff, CA. She now joins her beloved husband of 53 years, Gordon C. Andrews, whom preceded her in death in 2007.
There will be no services or visitation at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to MedCentral Hospice, 335 Glessner Ave., Mansfield, Ohio 44903. Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family of Mrs. Andrews.
