
Betty L. Boylan, 73, of Mansfield died Thursday morning, December 4, 2003 at MedCentral Mansfield after a brief illness. Mrs. Boylan was born December 2, 1930 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania to Charles R. Sr. & Mary Fye Coble, living in the Mansfield area most of her life. She graduated from Wooster High School. Betty was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with family, friends and her beloved cat, Tweetie.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Jackie & Charlie Setser and Peggy & Mike Annis, all of Lucas; grandchildren and their spouses, Rani & Mark Mullins of Kansas City, Kansas, Heather & Doug Krupa of Lucas and Mike & Marcy Annis of Mansfield; two great-grandchildren, Lukas Mullins and Isabelle Annis; three sisters, Rosemary Mosthaf and Shirley Weiler, both of Ashland and Thelma Dynes of California; a brother and sister-in-law, Francis & Naomi Coble; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jeannie & Don Chambers, Donald & Jo Boylan, Sandy Appleby and Janet Boylan; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Jan Wick. She was preceded in death by her parents; adopted parents, Warner & Pearl Slutz; husband, Ralph L. Boylan Jr. August 12, 1998, whom she married June 2, 1949 and was married 49 years; two brothers, John Coble and Charles R. Coble Jr.; and a sister, Dottie Denslow.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and one hour prior to graveside services to be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. at Mansfield Memorial Park conducted by Mike Annis and Pastor Jim Berry.
