Betty Suter

Betty Jean Martin Suter, 76, of Mansfield, OH died unexpectedly Monday, August 14, 2000 at MedCentral Mansfield. She was born July 11, 1924 to Ralph & Mildred Fortney Martin in Morgantown, West Virginia. Mrs. Suter was a member of the Ontario Felions as well as a member of the National Campers & Hikers Association.

She is survived by four sons & daughters-in-law, Dale & Georgia Suter of Melbourne Beach, FL, Eric & Joan Suter of Cartersville, GA, Christopher Suter of Mansfield, OH and Ralph Donald & Sany Suter of Pickerington, OH; two daughters & son-in-law, L. Darlene & Doug Taylor of Mansfield, OH and Nancy Suter of Mansfield, OH; eleven grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren; one brother & sister-in-law, Ralph & Nedra Martin of Oxon Hill, Maryland; two sisters, Lorraine English of Vinegar Bend, AL and Swannee Brown of Reno, NV. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ivan D. Suter and four brothers.

Friends may call the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Thursday, August 17, 2000 from 6-8 p.m. with a memorial service following the calling hours at 8 p.m. Services will be conducted by Rev. James F. Winkler of the Ontario United Methodist Church. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Pilot Dogs for the Blind and to the Ontario Lions Club.
