Betty retired from Lennox Machine, where she worked as an inspector. She found joy in creative and quiet pursuits, including oil painting, writing, and reading. An avid follower of the British royal family, she also loved spending time in her garden, planting and tending to flowers. Betty especially cherished traveling with her life companion, Terry Eighinger, creating many meaningful memories together.
She is survived by her children, Sarah Piazza, James Meister, Andrew (Rebecca) Sorg, and Claudia (Mark) Stacy; sister, Helen (John) Fisher; close extended family, Mike (Kris) Eighinger, Tim Eighinger, Dave (Carla) Eighinger, and Tracie Eighinger; many grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her life companion, Terry Eighinger; son, Joseph Meister, and grandchildren, Sophia Piazza, Nicholas Meister, and Mason Meister.
Friends and family are invited to a gathering on Friday May 8, 2026, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield, OH 44902. She will be laid to rest at Mansfield Memorial Park at a later date.
