
Billy Lee Neece, 76, of Jeromesville, died Friday, February 15, 2008 at The Good Shepherd in Ashland. Born February 27, 1931 in Dickinson County, Virginia, he was the son of Harless D. and Vivian Johnson Neece. He retired as a truck driver. Billy enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, and bowling. He loved his dogs and also enjoyed playing bluegrass music.
He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Dwayne McCumbers of Shiloh, and Martha Kay and Jerry Koch of Ashland; two sons and daughters-in-law, Carl L. and Patricia Neece of Rowsburg, and Mitchell and Lori Neece of Wooster; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Lorene and Troy Bailey of Loudonville; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death on November 24, 2003 by his loving wife, Ruby Allene Lambert Neece whom he married June 28, 1950; his parents; brother, Wayne Neece; and sister, Maggie Faw.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, February 18, 2008 at the Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Wayne Keith. Burial will follow in Jeromesville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
