Billy Prince

Billy R. Prince, age 68, Mansfield died on Sunday November 19, 2000 at MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital. Mr. Prince was born on February 20, 1932 to Vasco and Gladys Williams Prince in Portsmouth, Ohio residing in the Mansfield area since 1953. He retired from Empire Detroit Steel after 34 years of service. He was a member of NRA, AARP. Mr. Prince was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by Wife, Christine Prince of Mansfield, Oh. son, Donald Prince of Mansfield, OH. son and daughter-in-law, Sanford & Barbara Prince of Lucas, OH. son and daughter-in-law, Billy & Rosemarie Prince of Mansfield, OH. daughter, Mary Tucker of Mansfield, OH. daughter and son-in-law, Alma & Bud Schmidt of Mansfield, Ohio; twenty five grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren; sister, Norma Clever of Glendale, AZ. sister, Wanda Heaton of Mansfield, OH. sister and brother-in-law, Zelona & Kenneth Kelley of Portsmouth, OH. brother and sister-in-law, Rick & Debbie Prince of Mansfield, OH; numerous nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion Babe the Rottwiler. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by, one son, Jim Jarrell ; two brothers, Leo and Hobart and an infant sister.

Friends may call at Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Tuesday November 21, 2000 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 22, 2000 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by the Rev. Christopher Thomas of Diamond Hills Baptist Church. Military graveside services will be in Shenandoah Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association.
