

Bobby Ellis Haynes, Sr., 69, formerly of Mansfield, OH, died Friday October 1, 2004 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, OH after a brief illness which resulted from an auto accident on August 7, 2004.
Bobby was born in New London, OH on October 3, 1934 to John Henry Haynes and Laura Battle-Randleman, who preceded him in death. He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church. He married Ollie M. Woodruff Haynes on February 11, 1957 who passed away in April 2000. He was a former member of the US Army and was an employee at the General Motors before his retirement in 1986.
He leaves to cherish his memory, a son, Bobby Lucinda Haynes, Jr. of Mansfield; a daughter, Debora Haynes-Austin of Columbus; brothers Earl Sarah Haynes and Charles Haynes; a sister, Betty Murphy-Green, all of Dayton; eight grandchildren, Nikki Favers, D'Johna and John Austin III, all of Columbus, Vaneshia Brumfield, Nicalus and Kristafer Haynes of Tucson, AZ, Jeremy and Jamie Haynes of Mansfield; three great grandchildren; special brothers-in-law, Charles, Columbus, and Curtis Woodruff; special sisters-in-law, Marsha Hammond, Velma Goins, Lillie, Lillian, and Mildred Woodruff; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother Juaneal Hammond, sisters Theola and Gloria Randleman, and three children, Errol, Dedria, and Gloria Haynes.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Thursday October 7, 2004 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Friday at 2:30p.m. Military graveside services will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.
