Carol L. Belcher, 60, of Mansfield, died Friday, May 26, 2006 at her home. Born November 25, 1945 in Elkhorn City, Kentucky, she was the daughter of James and Eulah Spears Belcher. She retired from General Motors. Her dog Jasmine Jazzy and two year old Estella were the love of her life.
She is survived by one daughter, Lorri Michele Reed of Mansfield; mother, Eulah Belcher of Mansfield; two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Jay and Marti Belcher of California, and Jim and Bobbi Belcher of Mansfield; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Joan and Jim Short of Virginia, Georgia Adkins, and Mary and Richard Pittenger, all of Mansfield; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 2006 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial contributions be made to the Richland County Humane Society.
