Carol Ann Burger, 52, of Mansfield, died Sunday, October 4, 2009 at her home. Born February 18, 1957 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Dick and Marcie Snow Schivinski. Carol worked as a teller at Richland Bank. She was a wonderful artist, and enjoyed spending time with her family and fishing.
She is survived by her husband, John Burger; mother, Marcie Schivinski of Mansfield; sons, Joseph Burger, serving in the military in Korea, and Michael Burger, a student at Kent State University; and sister, Kathy and Jeff Caton of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her father.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2009 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd., Mansfield. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home conducted by Deacon Terry Philpott. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Richland County Humane Society.
