
Carol Janice Raudabaugh Francis Lamb, 63, of Shelby died Thursday morning, May 2, 2002 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital after an extended illness. Mrs. Lamb was born November 26, 1938 in Mansfield to Harley and Katherine Warga Raudabaugh. She was an area resident all her life and was formerly employed as an operator with AT&T and United Telephone. Carol attended Shelby Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her husband, Carl E. Lamb of Shelby; two daughters and one son-in-law, Catherine and Jim Shrader and Karen Volz all of Lexington; one son, Ronald Francis, Jr. of Fredericktown, Ohio; four stepdaughters, Clara Gee of Tennessee, Cindy Lamb of Mansfield, Carmen Huber of North Carolina and Roxanne Lamb of Arizona; one stepson, Carl M. Lamb of Tennessee; mother, Katherine Raudabaugh of Shelby; eleven grandchildren, Alaina Williams of Newfoundland, Canada, Jeremy Gearheart, Christopher Francis, Amber Long, Amanda Long, Katrina Francis, Nate Volz, Cody Lamb, Shannon Volz, Justin Volz, and Ashelyjo Lamb; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Robert Raudabaugh of Ohio and Harley and Barb Raudabaugh of Mansfield; one sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Ivan Gearheart of Mansfield; and her ex-husband, Ronald Francis, Sr. of Lexington. Her father preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Sunday, May 5 from 2-4 p.m. Funeral services will be at the funeral home Monday at 10:30 conducted by Pastor Lester Champer. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made at the funeral home to the Shelby Church of the Nazarene.
