Carrie Lynn Tackett, 36, of Mansfield, died unexpectedly Sunday, February 8, 2009. Born December 4, 1972, in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Linda Alice DeWeese. A very loving person, Carrie enjoyed music and dancing. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Surviving are two daughters, Jessica Thompson and Nicole Ricky Shepherd all of Mansfield; one son, Thomas Blackwell, III of Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Makayla Williams and Brayden Shepherd; three sisters, Debbie Steverson, Bobbie Jo DeWeese and Sheila Mae First all of Arizona; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Steverson DeWeese and her maternal grandmother, Hazel Hamilton.
