Chad Whitmore

Chad Whitmore, age 26, of Mansfield, died early Sunday morning at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. He was born November 2, 1974, in Ashland, Ohio, to Jerry and Linda Cranmore Whitmore. Chad was employed at Newman Technology and loved to swim, Sea Doo and fish. He was a very special person, always joking and making people laugh; Chad had a sincere love of life.

He is survived by his fiancée Jackie Toy of Mansfield; parents, Linda Whitmore and Michael Todd of Shelby and Jerry and step-mother, Becky Whitmore of Ashland; a brother, John Whitmore of Mansfield; two sisters Dodi Barker and her fiancé' Dennis Miller of Lexington and Tammy Miller of Mansfield; one step-sister, Lori Johnson of Ashland; one step-brother, Jerry L. Whitmore of Ashland; one very special uncle, Ted Cranmore of Dayton, TN; paternal grandparents, Victor and Rita Whitmore of Nova, OH; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and many very good friends. He was preceded in death by two uncles, Troy and Vinis Cranmore and his maternal grandparents, Dan and Eva Cranmore.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Tuesday, August 7, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Rev. Thomas Blair will conduct funeral services at the funeral home Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
