

Charles F. Fraley, 62, of Lexington, died January 24, 2015. Born April 27, 1952 in Ashland, KY, he was the son of the late Edward and Mary (Haney) Fraley. Charles attended Morehead State University before joining the Marine Corps and serving in Vietnam. After returning home, he went on to graduate from San Jose State University with his Bachelor degree and then worked in the mortgage banking industry for many years. An outgoing, gregarious man, Charles never met a stranger and could relate to others easily. More than anything, he loved his family and friends. Charles was involved in the youth ministries at Resurrection Parish and was active with the Boy Scouts for many years, and was a member of Knights of Columbus.
Surviving are his wife, Dawn Fraley; son, C. Daniel (Mandy) Fraley; daughter, Lauren Fraley; granddaughter, Kaelyn; sister, Tamara Fraley; brothers, Michael (Julie) Fraley, Joe (Amy) Fraley, David Fraley, and Jason Fraley; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Resurrection Parish, 2600 Lexington Avenue, Lexington. Family and friends are invited to visit for one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
