Charles was born on November 10, 1937 in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was the son of Acel and Arizona (Kelly) Stone. Family was very important to Charles and he always loved the time he spent with his family. He was always hoping for a win as he loved playing the lottery. He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns, and Ohio State Buckeyes. He loved the outdoors and being in nature. He was a great fisherman, hunter and loved horseshoes. Charles was a member of the Moose Club for at least 20 years.
He leaves behind his children, Charles Stone Jr. of Galion, Teresa (Terrence) Lamb and William Stone both of Mansfield; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, October 30, 2020 from 1:30-3:00 pm at the Wappner Cremation Center, 1327 Ashland Road. The Wappner Cremation Center is honored to serve the Stone family.
