Cheryl L. Buchanan

Cheryl L. Buchanan, 58, of Perrysville, died unexpectedly Monday, July 25, 2016 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. Born April 6, 1958 in Ashland, Ohio, she was the daughter of Levi Franklin Graser and Florence (Tait) Graser Skidmore.

She was the owner/operator of the Crossroads Trading Post in Perrysville from 1995 to 2015 and had previously worked in the circulation department at the News Journal. A very good hearted person, she was kind to everyone she met. She loved to garden, read, fish and take pontoon boat rides. She enjoyed being around her family and enjoyed the company of her dogs and kitty cat.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin Buchanan whom she married June 17, 1994; two sisters, Kathy (Cookies) Jennings of Perrysville and Mary (Mike) Carlisle of Mansfield; two brothers, John (Deb) Spradling of Perrysville and Scott Graser of Lexington; her pet "girls", Ginger, Sadie and Calie; nieces, Brittany (Adam) Stoner, Nikki Chinn and Kelli Chinn, Angel Carsey and Elaine Raver; nephews, Blake Buchanan, J.J. Spradling, Erick Finley and Errol Finley; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Junior (Dawn) Chinn; and two sisters-in-law, Teresa Buchanan and Cherie Buchanan.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Cheryl's life will be held at a later date.
