Chester A. Adams of Mansfield, passed away Saturday evening, January 23, 2021, at Oak Grove Manor at the age of 82. He was born January 23, 1939, in Martin County, Kentucky, to the late Earnest P. and Ethel (Crisp) Adams.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and worked at AK Steel for 30 years, retiring in 1992.
Chester is survived by a brother, Charles Adams; sister-in-law, Carol Adams; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; children, Susan Adams and Lisa Adams; brother, Earl P. Adams; and sister and brother-in-law, Dixie and Rev. Allen Stamper.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in Mansfield Memorial Park. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family.
