
Clarence L. Pfister, 88, of 3261 Kate Street, Acworth, Georgia and formerly of Shiloh, Ohio died Thursday evening, June 5, 2003 at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia following a brief illness. Mr. Pfister was born July 14, 1914 in Kawkawlin, Michigan. He was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church, Illinois Avenue, Mansfield, Ohio.
He is survived by five sons and three daughters-in-law, Jerald and Jean Pfister of Acworth, Georgia, James and PJ Pfister of Carmel, Indiana, Timothy and Elizabeth Pfister of Utica, New York, Thomas Pfister of Herkimer, New York and Joseph Pfister of Mansfield; two daughters and a son-in-law, Pam and Doug Magers of Ashland, Ohio and Brenda Pfister of Florida; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Emma DeLong of Mansfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Elizabeth Pfister; wife, Ruth K. Maliz Pfister; several brothers and sisters and a grandson.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Sunday, June 8 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services, conducted by the Apostolic Christian church, will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Apostolic Christian Church on Illinois Avenue with calling one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice.
