
Clinton H. 'Clint' Plaster, 85, of Mansfield, died Sunday, November 27, 2005 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Born February 29, 1920 in Raven, Virginia, he was the son of the late Charles and Martha Horton Plaster. He was a member of the First Assembly of God and also attended Victory Baptist Church. Before coming to Ohio, he worked at the Pocahontas Mining Co. He retired from Mansfield Globe Steel after 32 years of service. He was a dedicated Christian who loved his family, and enjoyed traveling and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Gayle Noland Plaster, whom he married October 2, 1971; two sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Becky Plaster of Middlebury, Indiana, and Parley and Gail Plaster of Galion; two step-daughters, June Richard Cope, and Carolyn Paul Greanya, all of Galion; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Russell Plaster of Galion; four sisters, Ruth Mallory of Radcliff, Kentucky, Marie Short of Richlands, Virginia, Judy Patton of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, and Jean White of Abington, Virginia; and one sister-in-law, Peggy Plaster of Raven, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Price Plaster; four sisters, Edith Virginia Whited, Ruby Clara Rasnake, Frances Carolyn Winfrey, and Gertrude A. Woodrum; three brothers, David, Billy, and Edward Plaster; and one step-son, Jerome Neff.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Victory Baptist Church conducted by Pastor John Wiseman. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Galion.
