Constance Cook

Constance R. Cook, age 66, died Monday, July 12, 2004 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Constance was born on February 20, 1938 in Charleston, West Virginia to Robert Smith and the late Frances Smith. She was a member of the VFW Post # 3494 and loved to play bingo.

She is survived by two sons, James Barber of Spartanburg, SC and Mark Barber of Galion; a daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Bryon Britt of Mansfield; ten grandchildren, Jimmy Barber, Victor Barber, Christina Barber, Mark Barber, Mitchell Barber, Mathew Barber, Abreil Barber, Dustin Britt, Dalton Britt, and Sharecca Britt; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Wayne Smith of Indiana and William Smith of Charleston, WV; a sister, Nancy Smith of West Virginia; best friend, Cathy Fellure of Mansfield; and a good friend, Leona Cunningham of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her mother Frances; and a brother, Warren Smith.

Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Wednesday, July 14, 2004 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 16, 2004 at the Myers Funeral Home in Elkview, West Virginia at 1 p.m. Friends may call the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney, West Virginia.
