
Constantine J. 'Deno' Kallimanis, 46, of Mansfield, died Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Born July 15, 1960, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, he was the son of John and Nikki Grammenos Kallimanis. A loving man and cherished son, blessed with a wonderful sense of humor, he was a generous person whom was good at giving constructive advice and was very protective of his family. Deno attended Crossroads Community Church, loved the Lord and was active in many area churches. He was a member of Celebrate Recovery and AA.
Survivors include his mother, Nikki Heisler of Mansfield; brother, Christ J. Kallimanis of Mansfield; nephew, Christopher K. Kallimanis; sister, Vickie J. Russell Sublett of Mansfield; uncles, Stamatios Katie Grammenos of New York, New York and Spiro Edith Grammenos of Upper River Saddle, New Jersey; and a number of cousins. Preceding him in death was his father, Rev. John G. Kallimanis, stepfather, Kenneth Heisler, maternal grandparents, Christ and Anastasia Grammenos, paternal grandparents, Gus and Vasiliki Kallimanis, and uncle, George Kallimanis.
Friends may call Sunday, April 22 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors with a vigil service during the evening call hours. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Father Michael Zacharias and Pastor Andrew W. Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or Monsignor Dunn Fund for Education.
