Coy Davis

Coy Davis, 72, of Mansfield, died Monday November 22, 2004 at his home after an extended illness. Born June 24, 1932 in Kentucky, he was the son of Arlie and LillianColdiron Davis. He lived in Mansfield all of his life, had worked at Peabody Barnes for 30 years as a supervisor, and retired as the owner and operator of Davis Lawn Service and Landscaping.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Heichel Davis; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Pam Davis of Lucas, and Robert and Charlene Davis of Florida; three grandchildren and their spouses, Jennifer fiancée, Kevin Uhde Davis, Jonathon Amy Davis, and Keri George Breznicki; six great grandchildren; two brothers and sister-in-law, Arlie Jr. and Kathleen Davis of Mansfield, and Robert Davis of Columbus; and one nephew, Larry Davis. He was preceded in death by his parents; two grandsons, Brian and Christopher Davis; and twin brother, Roy Davis.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday November 26, 2004 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday November 27 at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Memorial Park.
