
Dale E. Esterline, 48, of 1178 Amoy West Road died unexpectedly Thursday evening, February 14, 2002 at MedCentral Mansfield. Mr. Esterline was born September 10, 1953 in Mansfield, Ohio living in the area all of his life. He was employed with Newman Technology. He was a member of Diamond Hill Cathedral. Mr. Esterline was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved playing softball and reconditioning older cars. He was a loving father and caring friend.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Baker Esterline of Mansfield; a son, Cody Esterline of Lucas; two daughters, Coral and Casey Esterline, both of Tennessee; a brother, William Esterline of Cleveland, Tennessee; a sister, Diane Eberhardt of Lucas; four stepsons, Richard R. Hostetter and Brian D. Pifer, both of Mansfield, Randall R. Hostetter of Jeromesville and Russell R. Hostetter of Shelby; three stepdaughters, Heather L. Conley of Lexington, Holly Mercado of Tucson, Arizona and Heidi L. Conley of Phoenix, Arizona; and 16 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Edward & Mary Jo Goff Esterline.
Friends may call Sunday from 4-6 p.m. at Diamond Hill Cathedral, 500 Tingley Ave. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dale Esterline Fund in care of Linda Baker Esterline. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is assisting the family with arrangements.
