Daniel Leon Finley, 49, of Mansfield, died Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at MedCentral Mansfield. Born July 15, 1960, in Mansfield, he was the son of Edwin Leon and Jeanette L. White Finley. He attended Madison High School and worked for Air Solutions of Ohio. A jack of all trades, Daniel was a workaholic and would help anyone who needed something done. He enjoyed riding his Harley, feeding the deer and his two "little fella's", Keeco and Snickers but his greatest joy was his daughter who he affectionately referred to as "Pocahontas".
Surviving are his daughter, Danielle Finley and her mother, Tracey Harrington of Mansfield; his special friend, Anne McFarland; two brothers, Karl Shelley Finley and Donny Finley; a sister, LuAnne Dawson; a half sister, Edwina Finley; and a half brother, Edwin Finley. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, June 27, 2010, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield, OH. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 28, 2010, at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Henry Parker. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
